When avant-garde meets nostalgia

The collaboration between CAHU and UMA was a natural fit. Clémence Cahu has always been fascinated by objects that combine iconic shapes with unexpected materials. The world of UMA, founded by Steph Gallia, reinterprets 1990s furniture with a futuristic vision, inherited from family know-how and the manufacture of fiberglass furniture.

The trigger? The T4 model, UMA's iconic sofa designed by the English studio Holloway Li, known for its curved lines and design inspired by the playful pop aesthetic of the 90s. Clémence saw it as an immediate echo of her personal history, between nightclub benches and inflatable structures that rocked her childhood.

The two brands came together around a shared language: repurposing materials and paying homage to the 90s. The result is a limited edition of the T4, covered in CAHU's signature red PVC, designed to be used both indoors and outdoors. A powerful piece, exhibited in Paris at Première Classe and Matter & Shape, before being enriched with new colorful variations.
